Pressure Cooker Ribs
Fall-Off-the-Bone in 35 Minutes
Ribs rubbed with spices, pressure cooked for 35 minutes, then finished under the broiler to caramelize the BBQ sauce — tender in under an hour.
Steps
- 01
Mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub generously all over the ribs. Cut the rack into 3 to 4-rib sections to fit the pressure cooker.
- 02
Pour the broth and vinegar into the pressure cooker. Place the trivet inside and stand the rib sections upright. Seal and cook at high pressure for 35 minutes.
- 03
Natural release for 10 minutes, then release any remaining pressure. Transfer the ribs to a foil-lined baking sheet and brush generously with BBQ sauce.
- 04
Broil at 230°C (450°F) for 5–7 minutes until the sauce caramelizes and chars slightly at the edges. Watch closely. Slice between the bones and serve.
